Launched in February 2009, Student News is an independent half
hour news program produced by high school students in the
Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.  Our mission is to
provide a free speech zone for young people and a forum for news
that affects youth, reported by youth.

The first episode of Season 2 of Student News will air on
Monday, September 14.  Past episodes from Season 1 are
available
OnDemand at ACTV, and are also streaming
HERE.
Student News is holding an open informational meeting for teens, ages 13-17,
who are interested in joining our production team or becoming a reporter with our
show.  It will be held at ACTV at 3:30 pm on September 14. No experience is
necessary, and journalists, editors, and filmmakers are welcome!  Contact
